The girls in the stall next to me were talking about Syria… SYRIA of all topics. It was the coolest thing. They we educated and knowledgeable about the issue at hand, having an adult conversation and weighing the pros and cons of the situation.

The issue of Syria, its history and what the U.S should or shouldn’t do is an extremely complicated issue. I don’t care which side of the aisle you are on, I just believe more young people need to be aware of world affairs, have an opinion and start of conversation.
