Do Women Voters Favor Obama Over Romney?

American women still like President Obama more than Mitt Romney. According to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released yesterday, Obama has a 14-point lead over Romney.

The poll revealed that 51-percent of registered women voters support the Democratic incumbent compared to 37-percent who are supporting Romney, the presumed Republican nominee, in the presidential election set for November 6th.

The poll, which was conducted Thursday through Sunday, comes on the heels of a major flap about stay-at-home moms, after a Democratic strategist said that Romney's wife, Ann, wasn't qualified to help her husband on economic issues because she hasn't "worked a day in her life."
