Montana is one of the most incredible states I've ever lived in. Just saying the word Montana makes you think of trees, river activities and wide-open spaces that are iconic to the Big Sky State.

But, when it really comes down to it, the people themselves are what truly make the state unique.
Speaking of unique, the Missoula Osprey, Destination Missoula, and Badlander Catering are proud to present to you Taste of the Big Sky.

What is the Taste of the Big Sky you ask?

It is an extravaganza on August 10 featuring the best Montanan ingenuity.

There will be live music by many performers, including Miller Creek and The Box Cutters. It will also be vendors galore at the Osprey stadium, including Big Sky Brewery, Top Hat Lounge, and Kettlehouse. Are you interested yet?

Taste of the Big Sky is an all day event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It will bring together years of brewing, barbequing and distilling experience all at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field for the first event of its kind.

Sure Montanan's are known as burly mountain men who can chop down a pine tree with the single swing of an ax, but Taste of the Big Sky hopes to showcase how we are also gifted in the ways of cooking, brewing and barbequing.

Hey, maybe it's the mountain men in all of us that make us so creative with our food and drinks.

Best of all, this family-friendly event is for all ages. It is free to get in and tastings cost between $2 and $6.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, keep up with updates through the Taste of the Big Sky Facebook page, or on the Destination Missoula website.
