The anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's 1973 Row v Wade decision is January 22, and the pro-life organization Concerned Women of America will be hosting an event in the Capitol rotunda in Helena on Friday, January 23.

Montana State Director Tonya Shellnutt says the event is titled "Pro-life is Pro-Women".

"The National Right to Life march will be happening Thursday in Washington,D.C. and it's specifically for legislators to gain some insights into some of the misconception that have been developed over the last 41 years," Shellnutt said. "Women who have had abortions actually are six times more likely to commit suicide. They deal with depression, guilt, shame, and it's never something that just goes away."

Shellnutt said the ceremony will be from noon till 1 p.m. in the Montana State capitol rotunda in Helena.
