Clive Davis, the man who launched Arista Records and who discovered groundbreaking artists like Whitney Houston, Alicia Keys and Aerosmith throughout his decades-long career, has announced that he is bisexual.

Davis, 80, revealed the news about his sexuality in his new memoir, 'The Soundtrack of My Life.'

Davis was married twice and has four children. He embraced his bisexuality about 30 years ago, during the Studio 54 heyday.

In the book, the music business mogul writes: "Was I nervous? Absolutely. Did the heavens open up? No. But it was satisfying."

During an interview with Katie Couric, he said that he remains attracted to women.

He is currently in a long-term, same-sex relationship and has been for the past seven years.
