LADIES: Channing Tatum May Soon Have Ties to Montana State

This week, Screencrush has confirmed that 21 Jump Street and Magic Mike star Channing Tatum has signed on to play the role of Gambit in an X-Men spinoff.

But did you know that the Hollywood hunk is also in talks to play an iconic real-life daredevil from the state of Montana?

According to Movie Insider, Tatum is rumored to be considering the role of Evel Knievel, best known to locals as Butte's hometown hero as well as his nationally televised motorcycle stunt jumps!

Could Tatum soon don the wild Red, White and Blue jumpsuit while chronicling how the Montana native broke well over 400 bones in the process of his incredible high-flying stunts? Clearly if he does, the film itself will have to wait until the actor wraps up the Gambit film, as well as Magic Mike 2...and putting the final touches on 22 Jump Street (good grief!)

Now, to daydream....what if Channing ACTUALLY FILMED scenes in Butte, Montana?!? I'll let you ladies drift off into a cloud with that wonderful thought right now...
