Kidd Kraddick's legions of generous listeners have come through once again, opening their hearts and wallets to the tune of $415,000 in just four hours last Thursday for his long-running charity, Kidd's Kids.
The purpose, as always, is noble: Every year, Kidd's Kids, with a big assist from their partners at Southwest Airlines, sends a planeload of terminally/chronically ill or physically challenged children and their families to Walt Disney World for five days of fun. While the fundraising for this worthy cause continues year-round, this special one-day push generated enough money to pay for accommodations, park passes, meals, transportation, spending money and souvenirs for 51 deserving Kidd's Kids and their immediate family members.
