Today I spoke with Michael Hyde, father of little Cashy, and Missoula's miracle child.

After weeks of radiation therapy in California with the odds stacked against the young boy who's been battling brain cancer, the news came soon after that the cancer began to shrink. Four weeks later Michael, his mother Kalli, and the rest of Cashy's family took the boy to Salt Lake City to do a follow up MRI only to find that the tumor was gone.

According to his mother's Facebook update today:

Just got off phone with doctor and our hero Cashy has now BEAT cancer TWICE and is officially in remission!!!! Yay!!! Thank you all for your prayers, support and love we couldn't of done it without you all!!!! Thank god!!!! Wahoo!! I'm shaking!!!

You'll be able to instantly hear the relief in Michael's voice when you push play on this interview. The family has been through so much and it's a blessing to hear that Cashy can begin to live a normal life again. Michael also has some words of thanks for the entire Missoula community.
