While some of us in Missoula are dreading even the thought of stepping outside in these below-zero temperatures, one brave local is endured potential frost bite back in 2014 to put the snow fall last winter season to good use...

Back around December of 2014, near the intersection of Stevens Avenue and Mount in Missoula we stumbled upon what was literally one of the coolest sculptures ever created last season. While some may confuse the monstrosity as a grizzly (we don't blame you), it's actually wound up being a snowcat when it was finished. Thankfully NOT a bobcat ;)

The photo above showed the masterpiece, while the finished project blueprint can be seen below. But the question remains: will this snow cat be enough inspiration to get you outside and make an even better sculpture this holiday season? We issue a formal challenge!
