We are in the thick of wedding season! As many excited brides get ready for their Big Day ahead, one important bridal rite of passage must be celebrated. Before the cake, before the gifts and "I do's", a bride-to-be must enjoy one final night out with the girls to mark the end of single life as they know it.

Without question, Missoula is the ultimate destination for your bachelorette party. This energetic college town not only offers the most thriving nightlife but it also features a wide variety of outdoor adventures and leisure activities.  Here is your guide to planning the best Girls Night Out in Missoula.

Transportation

If you are going to go out, go out in style! Also make sure you are able to get back to where you came from in one piece. Try to secure at least a taxi, or better still a limo for the ladies. Here's some suggestions on some great taxi services in Missoula and some ideas on how to reserve a limousine in our area.

Food

Your first task is to make sure the ladies are well fed. One cannot paint the town red (or whatever color your brides colors are) without some nourishment.

The Mustard Seed in the Southgate Mall is a perfect place to grab a light meal, plus it's also centrally located in town so your attendees can all have a agreeable meeting ground and then be able to take off in any direction or where ever else the night may take you. The food is perfect and the chefs and wait staff will treat you like the queen that you are.

Dessert

A ladies gotta have her chocolate! That's why it's best to make a quick jaunt down to the other end of the mall to Caffe Dolce to enjoy some of their naughty and delectable treats. Perhaps even a quick caffeine boost with some of their fantastic coffee.

Drinks

Now that the ladies are well fed and satisfied it's time to tie a few on! Our advice would be to let the bride enjoy a few, and only just a few. We want her to wake up the next morning with at least a few memories intact.

Our advice would be to just park downtown on Ryman Street. This, of course, is the central hub for most of the Missoula bars. From there, you can hit at least 10 great watering holes like the Badlander, Iron Horse, and even the new Tamarack Brewery.

Dancing

Once your ladies have lost their inhibitions after a few sips, it's time to tear up the dance floor! Again, you are in the right spot if you simply stay put in downtown Missoula. Stockmans gets hopping around 12am, and before that Kris Moon and his crew at The Badlander most certainly know how to get the ladies to shake their groove thing on most weekends. If you do decide to venture off the downtown map, then your best bet would be to hit up The Elbow Room (voted the #1 place to dance according to our Zootown's Finest poll)

After Party

Let the husband-to-be know that you won't be coming back! At least for the night. I would suggest getting a couple of hotel rooms at the C'mon Inn which features a relaxing pool and spa to soothe those aching late night muscles. This home away from home will give you and the girls just the right amount of relaxation space to recover from your adventurous night out.

Your bachelorette party (hopefully) only comes around once in lifetime, make it memorable one with these suggestions. Also, feel free to add some other ideas to our list by commenting in the field below. Have fun, ladies!
