Don't you wish you could blame everything on beavers? Turns out that the power outage that took place last night and knocked out power to part of the westside and even had lights flickering all over town, is now dubbed "the beaver incident."

According to MTN News

NorthWestern Energy is reporting that - of all things - it was caused by an over eager beaver who dropped a tree on a transmission line.

The utility reports that what's being dubbed as "the beaver incident" caused a brief outage on westside of Missoula and that the lights blinked all over the city, including at the Missoula Osprey game.

MTN News has heard from folks that the power blinked off as far away as Thompson Falls, Eureka and Hamilton.

Basically, beavers are terrorists. They are not only trying to take out power to our town, but in some parts of the world, they are deadly. Check out this beaver attack caught on tape in Russia.
