Words simply cannot describe the absolute madness that descended upon Missoula over the extended Halloween weekend, which is hopefully why our huge photo gallery will suffice. After finally recovering from our annual bash at The Broadway we now attempt to recapture the memories of the best Halloween in recent history!
These are possibly the worst videos of a Bigfoot sighting ever filmed in the history of Bigfoot footage. They make Harry and the Henderson's look like a true-to-life documentary. Seriously, that bad. From the acting, to the downright obvious, the sad fact is: no one has released any convincing Sasquatch footage from Montana state. That is, unless you are sitting on it (and if so, drop me a message!) Until then, we are left with these two "sightings".
Bar owners, drink servers and entertainers have noticed an alarming trend.
After a modest happy hour or dinner rush, establishments all over Missoula become a near ghost town only until the next wave of party goers arrive as late as 11 p.m. These fashionably late appearances are making their jobs all the more difficult as they have to cram as many sales as they can into a very small time frame, before the dreaded "last call for alcohol."
There are jokes, and then there are jokes about Montana. Safe to say that when most people make up jokes about the big sky state, they aren't usually kind. Often times it's something that has to do with the locals having no teeth, no intelligence, and no one else to date but their family members. But still, like it or not, this is the humor that people have come up with about Montana (as found on the website http://www.jokes4us.com/). So we can either get mad, or laugh along with them. We will let you decide. But don't say you weren't warned. Q: What's the most popular pick up line in Montana?
A: Nice tooth! Q. Why do ducks fly over Montana upside down?
A. There's nothing worth crapping on! Q: Why couldn't the baby Jesus be born in Montana?
A: Because they couldn't find 3 wise men or a virgin. Q. How do you know the toothbrush was invented in Montana?
A. If it was invented anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush.
For the past three years, Mississippi has been the most obese state in the country. Nearly 30 percent of its residents are classified as overweight, according to the most recent report by the Trust For America's Health.
Which is the leanest state? Colorado with only 17.6 of the obesity rate.
Craigslist, the truly random classified website has had a long standing relationship with hosting some of the downright weirdest ads anywhere. Why is it no surprise that Montana has the oddest classifieds out there?
Craiglist, while best known for unloading stuff you don't need, can also be a great source for re-connecting with that special someone you locked eyes with from afar. The "Missed Connections" section is great for the times when you just weren't able to muster up the nerve to introduce yourself in person, or the opportunity simply wasn't there to present a formal acquaintance.
Who knows! Someone could have spotted you from afar and you simply didn't notice. That's where this category on the worlds largest online classified database comes in handy. Let's share a few of the most recent postings:
My wife cannot start her day without a cup of Starbucks coffee. And yet, instead of ordering a cup at one of their many (many, many) storefronts, she decided it would be more "convenient" to whip some up at home. Convenient, my ass...
Behold, the Starbucks VIA Ready Brew.. An infuriating product that requires more steps to make just one cup of coffee than it does to renew your drivers license.
I stumbled upon a new set of Yellow Pages at my office this morning, and that got wondering: I honestly cannot remember the last time I pulled out either the white pages or the yellow pages to look something/someone up.
DJ Magazine listed Gareth Emery as the 7th best DJ on the music scene, and electronic dance music fans all over the world flock to his shows to see him perform. And finally, Missoula gets to have him all to his own.
