You might think...somebody would have suggested this before, but for the first time ever, ASUM officers will have an official meeting with the Missoula City Council.

ASUM President Zach Brown says he and his officers will meet with the town council Monday evening at 5:30, before the regular City Council meeting at 7 p.m.

Brown says the main issue the student leaders want to address is that of ADU's, or Attached Dwelling Units. With over 16,000 students, many who live off campus, Brown says the need for student housing is critical, and he is hoping the city council can help to make student housing more available...and more affordable.

Brown says the meeting between ASUM and the city council will be open to the public at the Missoula City Council Chambers downtown.
