A Missoula motel, the Quality Inns and Suites at 4445 North Reserve Street, was robbed at knife point last night, November 10.

Sergeant James Caton with the Missoula Police Department said the robbery took place at about 10 p.m.

"Two unidentified persons wearing black ski masks over their faces robbed the Quality Inns and Suites," Caton said. "The two made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after brandishing a knife at the clerk. Another employee came to work to start her shift and discovered her co-worker tied up in a closet."

Caton provided a brief description of the two suspects.

"One individual is describe as being large and wearing a black shirt and jeans," Caton said. "The other was smaller than the male, possibly a female, and also wearing a black shirt and jeans."

Caton said the female clerk was not seriously injured in the robbery.
