A good way to spot a married person who is trying to pretend otherwise is a subtle tan line on their ring finger.

However, if the makers of a new anti-cheating ring have their way, folks who are trying to step out on their vows will be a lot easier to notice. The $550 titanium band has “I’m Married” engraved backwards on its inside so that the wearer’s skin will be branded should he or she ever remove it.

“With Arnold, Tiger and two-timing IMF guy in mind, we have created this wedding ring for people intent on cheating,” reads the ring’s description on the website TheCheeky.com, which is allegedly selling the band.

It’s our opinion that there isn’t going to be much of a market for a ring that makes a pre-nup seem romantic. But, who knows? It’s actually a less permanent token of devotion than the popular practice of tattooing your lady friend’s name on your body. And, we all know how well that always turns out.
