Amy Schumer: Comedian. Director. Feminist. Screenplay writer. Award-winner. Actress. And now, book author.

Following in the footsteps of women comedians-turned-authors Tina Fey and Amy Poehler before her, Schumer is set to make her debut as a writer this summer with the release of The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, her first official book, due out on August 16, 2016. And today (May 7), the actress-writer unveiled its semi-NSFW (but like, totally SFW) cover on Instagram, the artwork for which she poses nude, her back to the camera as she gazes coyly over her shoulder.

"Amy Schumer is not an entertainer who can actually write. She’s a writer.. who also happens to entertain," said Jennifer Bergstrom, publisher of the book, in a press release. Touted as a "collection of (very) personal and observational essays" from the star, stories contained within The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo will "range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing."

As for the book's title, it's obviously a tribute to Stieg Larsson's international bestselling thriller, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, as well as an unapologetic nod to Schumer's real life lower back tat — or "tramp stamp" as some (read: sexist jerks) might call it. Lisbeth Salander — the unrelenting, tattooed feminist protagonist of Larsson's trilogy — would be proud.
