The look on Savannah's face was like she had seen a ghost in real life. The whole thing started when I was working on the backyard, just the normal mowing and upkeep. In the middle of mowing and listening to music, my wife comes to the backyard when she was working on the front yard this whole time. Her face was pale and she looked frightened, she said that she just saw the biggest spider ever and I needed to come kill it.

I wasn't worried about being asked to kill a spider, this is actually the norm' in our house, I am the spider killer. I have no problem with this title as spiders don't bother me, it's snakes that make me cringe. So, getting back to the story, I stop working in the backyard to help Savannah find and kill this spider. The problem is that when I got to the front yard where the spider originally was, he was no where to be found.

After searching around for about 15 minutes I was getting impatient and wanted to get back to my project. Savannah kept insisting that she still needed my help, so I realized that the only way to get rid of the problem was to just remove the whole bush where the spider was seen. Now we have more of an open pathway toward our front door, but from the look that was on Savannah's face we are lucky we didn't have to burn down the whole house. :) Also, be careful of huge spiders on the loose.
