Even though I’m not a fan of this cold and rainy weather… It means one thing: Snow is on the way. And that means it’s nearly time for another season of fun on the mountain with my friends!

To start off the fall right, the third annual Treasure State Shred Fest is happening at Caras Park again this year.  Event organizers are bringing in snow and setting up freestyle snow features.

I went last year and had a ton of fun watching the competitors! There’s drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic,) a ton of Missoulians and it’s just a fun night to get outside and enjoy.

Admission is free and just $25 for riders participating in rail jam.  It’s happening October 26 from 4pm-11pm in Caras Park.

Kids will even have the chance to give shredding a try! For FREE! The fest will suit them up and let them try snowboarding.
