It’s hard to tell who the 2012 BET Awards winners will be, but Beyonce and Kanye West are the frontrunners for nominations, and almost immediately, Yeezy picked up his first award for the evening. After an energy-packed performance of ‘Mercy’ and ‘Cold,’ West and Jay-Z (who surprised him during the acceptance speech, coming out from backstage) took home the 2012 BET Award award for Best Group.

So, who else took home trophies? Check out our list of the 2012 BET Award winners, including Chris Brown and Big Sean as well, and stay tuned as we update the list throughout the show.
