Are there things you know you should say that you don’t? I know I could stand to use, “please,” and, “thank you,” more than I do. Who doesn’t appreciate someone with good manners? It is one thing that I’m constantly trying to work on with my boys. It’s a great way to impress their dates’ parents in a few years.

What about just having good manners because it’s polite? What wrong with that? What has happened to that? Where have all the manners gone?

What about being polite? I wish people were more polite (especially when it came to driving.)

What about complimenting people? I know I like to get compliments, it’s very flattering. Why not give someone else a compliment? Imagine how one little compliment could affect someone? Could you possibly change their mood or make their day?

I think we could all stand to do at least one nice thing for someone else every day. Whether it be complimenting them on their outfit, holding a door open for someone, letting someone in your lane, or even just buying someone a corndog.

How much better would our home, work, city, state, or country be if we all just did one nice thing for someone every day?
