If you’ve been looking for a great way to get into the holiday spirit, then look no further. This Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Nov. 29, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1), Blackfoot Communications is helping to kick off the Holiday season with some festive events. Not only will these events help you to catch some holiday cheer, it will also help your holiday giving, as these events benefit Mountain Home and Community Medical Center to support local moms and babies.

From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, you can catch the Tour of Trees. This is a public event that showcases Christmas trees throughout Missoula that have been decorated by local businesses. After the tour, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. you can hit the dance floor at the Boogie Wonderland, which is a holiday dance with music and cocktails and features “The Cold Hard Cash Show” at Monk’s Bar. You can pick up your tickets for Boogie Wonderland at Rockin’ Rudy’s, MSO Hub or online at missoulafestivaloftrees.org.

From 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, November 30, you can catch the Tour of Trees. Then from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. you can attend the Gala Dinner and Auction at the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown. The gala is a formal event that features a cocktail party and a live and silent auction. You can buy tickets for the gala at http://www.missoulafestivaloftrees.org/tickets/#.ULWtSYYQUZY.

After the tea you can catch the Tour of Trees for the last time from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Don’t forget the Missoula Downtown Association parade of lights at 6 p.m. The parade of lights travels north on Higgins and ends at the Red XXXXs where the Downtown Christmas tree will be lit.
